Departure after you will be picked up from your hotel in Marrakech around 07h30 AM for your group 2-day desert tour to Zagora desert. Stunning High Atlas Mountains through Tizi n’Tichka (2260 m. alt) and different adobe Berber farms and traditional villages. There will be a stop in the High Atlas Mountains, so you can take pictures, stretch your legs. Upon arrival at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, you will have free time to explore this UNESCO world heritage site and its famous fortified village. This village was used as a set for various Biblical epics and a backdrop for commercial and modeling photoshoots. If you wish to join the group on a guided tour, there is an extra fee of €3.00 per person. After the visit to the Kasbah, you will have an hour’s lunch break at Ouarzazate named “Hollywood of Morocco”. From here, we will continue driving past Agdez and cross the Northeastern parts of the Anti-Atlas Mountains to the oasis of Draa Valley, where you’ll see fortified Kasbahs which is still maintained architecture and oases dotted with hundreds of thousands of date palm trees. Draa Valley is Oasis to the largest palm tree plantation in Morocco. In the afternoon, you will reach the Tinfou desert, which is 24 km south of Zagora. The Tinfou desert contains large sand dunes which will give you a chance to enjoy a ride on the back of the camel around these golden sands for an hour while taking pictures, Sandboarding will be available to experience and discover these nomads who live in this area. After enjoying these activities in Tinfou dunes, watching the sunset and also sharing tea with the berber nomads there. You will resume riding the car for half an hour on the road in order to join our Zagora Luxury Desert Camp that is located in the best location, which is in the middle of sand dunes in the desert near Zagora. After you get to camp you will install in your private Luxury tents which includes bathrooms inside and prepare to benefit from the activities that this luxury camp will offer, including welcoming tea hospitality, having a romantic dinner, enjoying the local music around the campfire under the starry sky.

Your luxury camp hosts will wake you up early in the morning to watch the sunrise. After breakfast, you’ll ride your camels again to meet your car and driver on the main road. From there, you will depart for Ouarzazate via Agdez, where we’ll stop for lunch at a local Resterrant and visit Atlas Film Studios in Ouarzazate or Taourirt Kasbah (optional – depending on timing, entrance fees apply).
In the afternoon, you’ll drive back to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains. Your 2 day group desert tour from Marrakech to Zagora will end before 19h30 in the winter and before 19h00 in the summer.
